Stayed there, nice place, went for meal at local pub which was top class
For a travel lodge, this is one of our favourites. We stayed here new years eve and had our dog Lily who was able to stay for an extra 10 a night.We all had a great night sleep (Even Lily) as it was lovely and quiet :0)Parking isn't a problem as there are plenty of spaces available.There is a Shell garage right next to the travel lodge and a burger king. If you fancy something a bit more healthy you can head into the town of Ilminster where there is a large tesco's.We will be definitely be returning here when we have weddings to photograph this year :0)
If you decided to be employed here. Be prepared for favourtism to certain employees. Who are ignored when off sick constantly. But others are picked up on the slightest thing. Certain staff members can be off when they like week in week out And pick choose hours days. Housekeeping area of work. Working environment good. But unfair system. In which they should be treating everyone same.Saying that there are some certain staff here who were friendly and fair but just going with the flow of what going on.
Nice clean accommodation central for visiting places. On main road but couldn't hear the traffic. Very comfortable.
Was able to check in late and leave early. Brilliant room, comfy bed, clean functional bathroom and all the amenities I needed. Only downside was all windows were open when I arrived at 11pm so room was freezing cold.
