I was a late arrival here. Very accomodating and finished up in a little apartment all to myself 2 tv's one up stairs in front of a nice sofa and one upstairs in front of the bed nice big tellys. Plenty of coffee n tea. I was brought breakfast to the room. Really niceWhen in the area next i will be staying there again.

what an amazing stay. lovely welcoming hosts. thoughtful touches at b and b. really comfy and snug. and assisted in milking cows in morning and was there to see two day old calf drink it's morning milk. the wife was asleep the extra hour whilst I did this then had a super breakfast, then lay down as i had eaten too much. this was a perfect stay. there are places where you would say you would come back to, this is I place I will definitely come back to. Brilliant.
Shave Farm far exceeded our expectations of what stopping in a farmhouse B+B would be like. While the building look elegant and old, the rooms are modern and very clean.The full English breakfast contained bacon and pork from their very own pigs, and the eggs were fresh from the chickens roaming free-range in the garden. The hosts were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. I was given a tour of the farmyard at feeding time which I enjoyed. The gardens have plenty of places to sit or lay and bask in the sunshine (weather permitting). We will definitely be stopping here again in the future, possibly for more than 1 night.
Very, very good accommodation and staff. We have been in b & b and self catering in the barns and Cedar Lodge. Every time the accommodation was spotless and the breakfasts had a great choice of food plus cooked very well.
