Good food and drinks good places to visit
We visited fit the Xmas market, which was fun but didn't really get to see the house or grounds
Went for Christmas fayre...... Should have organised the parking better!!!!! A one way system would have been soooo much more helpful
What a wonderful country house in a beautiful setting
What an amazing and incredible place! From the fantastic views to the exceptional food, our evening and overnight stay was wonderful.My wife and I came here for a work murder mystery evening and then stayed the night. The atmosphere and decor is just beautiful and so conducive to a good time. The food portions were just right; not huge but tasty enough to make you feel content. My wife says that the Cod was the best she'd ever had. Our room was located in the 'Hyde', a well-designed annex with purpose built bedrooms. The room enjoyed 180 degree views over Somerset and had a private balcony. The memory-foam mattress was extremely comfortable and contributed to a very restful night.Breakfast was perfect! We enjoyed a tasty buffet-style cooked breakfast with all the trimmings. The tables for breakfast were set up in a way that results in guests mixing and sitting with other guests who are not in the same group or party. I couldn't recommend Dillington House enough and hope to return soon.
