Consistently good whether you choose a meal or just coffee and cake. Owners exceptionally friendly and attentive. Event spaces available. Often drop by for a coffee and especially recommend the pea soup with fresh crusty bread! Oh and the homemade chips are great.
A great venue for holding private events. Buffet food was excellent and plentiful. Licenced to provide alcohol too.Clean and spacious toilets, including separate disabled toilet. Lovely rural setting with outdoor seating area for coffee etc. Plenty of free parking with designated disabled bay. Easy access for wheelchairs.The venue also hosts varous weekly groups.
We held a surprise birthday party on Saturday for Mum in one of the function rooms upstairs. My words will not express how much the whole day meant to us and to Mum! Chef Ethan helped us to plan and came up with a fantastic menu for 30 consisting of a hot buffet. It was sensational & followed by 2 amazing puds and a cake. The room looked amazing, glasses were never empty and staff worked extremely hard even with the cafe downstairs being full all day! A day to remember & we couldn't have been better looked after. I would totally recommend for any function!
Still as good as ever. Friendly, hygienic and I can recommend the sausage sandwich, oh... and nice coffee. For those who don't know, it's at the Ilminster end of the old Ashill straight. And they like cyclists.
Lovely place. Clean, happy envirment. Lovely staff. Great food, can recommend cheese scones and sausage butty. Cyclists welcome. Almost forgot - good coffee, all at reasonable prices.
