Very nice airy cafe/bistro style cafe in a beautiful little historic town. Moderately expensive for what one receives in the food line, but a decent lunch spot. Closed at 4:30pm. Service by owner quite friendly but young waitresses unfortunately display typical English indifference. Worth a repeat.
Cups had tea stains and the tables weren't well cleaned. Not as good as it used to be before new ownership. Edit in reply to owners comment: this was definitely The Kitchen On Silver Street - we visited just after it opened when everything should have been as good as it got! It WAS NOT the Lemon Tree.
